Cointelegraph reported that Flying Tulip, a DeFi platform being developed by Andre Cronje, co-founder of Sonic (S), has introduced a type of circuit breaker feature that delays withdrawals in the event of abnormal fund outflows. This safety measure was implemented due to a surge in DeFi hacks this month and is designed to allow transactions even if a system flaw occurs. The damages from DeFi hacks this month have exceeded $600 million, with damages to Drift (DRIFT) and Kelp DAO accounting for 95% of the total.
