CoinDesk reported that OpenAI, a US artificial intelligence company, is successively recruiting key marketing personnel from cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Over the past year and a half, six senior marketing executives, including the former Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), have moved to OpenAI. Many of them previously worked together at Meta. Coinbase, on its part, cautioned against overinterpretation, stating that it's 'just a partial movement within an organization of over 150 people.' Meanwhile, CoinDesk interpreted that a broader trend of talent migration from the cryptocurrency industry to the AI industry is continuing, with policy, data, and design personnel also moving to AI companies.
