Cointelegraph reported that prediction market Kalshi has fined and suspended one incumbent US congressman and two congressional candidates for betting on the results of elections in which they were running. Kalshi's Head of Enforcement, Bobby DeNult, stated, "Regardless of the transaction volume, betting by candidates who can influence the market due to their candidacy in an election is a clear violation of regulations."
