Coindesk reported that Lazarus, a hacking organization under North Korea's Reconnaissance General Bureau, is aggressively targeting the cryptocurrency and fintech industries using a new macOS malware kit called 'Mach-O Man'. Mauro Eldritch, founder of BCA, explained, "The hackers send an urgent video conference invitation link via Telegram, then lure victims to a fake website and instruct them to paste a command into the Mac Terminal to 'fix connection errors'. If the victim executes the command, immediate access to corporate systems, SaaS platforms, and financial resources is granted, and the malware self-deletes its traces, making it difficult to detect the compromise."
