AI law firm Covenant AI announced its departure from the BitTensor (TAO) ecosystem. According to Unfolded, Covenant cited BitTensor co-founder Jacob Steeves' excessive control and unilateral policy changes as reasons for its departure, stating that BitTensor's governance system is merely a play mimicking decentralization. Previously, Covenant AI had performed decentralized large language model (LLM) pre-training through a major subnet. TAO is currently trading at $286.8, down 11.27% from the previous day, according to CoinMarketCap.
