The Ethereum Foundation has launched zkAPI, co-designed by founder Vitalik Buterin, on the mainnet. Users can pay for artificial intelligence (AI) and other API usage fees with pre-charged ETH or USDC using zkAPI. Notably, it is designed to prevent API providers from identifying the payment user's identity and API usage history by utilizing Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK).
