Solana (SOL)-based liquid staking protocol Marinade (MNDE) Finance announced that on September 25, an attacker attempted to take over the DAO by exploiting a bug in the voting program, but the council rejected two related proposals. There was no fund movement or damage, and mSOL, native staking, and SAM (Stake Auction Marketplace, where Marinade's total TVL is distributed) were also unaffected. Marinade has implemented measures to prevent bug exploitation and plans to introduce additional security features.
