Joseph Shalom, CEO of Sharplink (NASDAQ: SBET), one of the companies holding Ethereum, said in an interview with Maeil Business Newspaper, "If Korea establishes three regulations – Won-pegged coins (cryptocurrency), tokenized securities, and the structuring of tokenized asset markets – it will become a digital financial hub connecting East and West." He added, "Korea has already transitioned from a retail investor-centric coin trading market to a market where financial institutions directly build blockchain infrastructure."
