Cointelegraph reported that the weekly number of altcoin deposit transactions to exchanges increased to 78,000 on September 28. This is an increase of approximately 160% from about 29,800 transactions on September 14, and the highest level since October 2025. During the same period, the number of addresses depositing altcoins to exchanges also increased from about 17,600 to 51,600, a roughly threefold increase. This is also the highest level in the past year. The media explained, "When holders deposit tokens to exchanges, it is generally interpreted as a move to prepare for selling, which could indicate potential selling pressure."
