Nasdaq-listed Lite Strategy (formerly MEI Pharma), which strategically reserves LTC, announced that its LTC holdings as of June 30, the end of the 2026 fiscal year, amounted to 832,716 LTC (worth $57.22 million). The company explained that after adopting LTC as its primary reserve asset in August last year, it invested $100 million to purchase over 900,000 LTC cumulatively, and its holdings at the end of June represented more than 1% of the LTC mined to date. Subsequently, the company simultaneously operated a covered call program utilizing its LTC holdings and a share repurchase program, buying back 6.4 million shares, equivalent to approximately 17% of its outstanding shares, by September 22. Option premium profits since the inception of the covered call program until September 22 were approximately $930,000. The company plans to focus on increasing LTC holdings per share through future share repurchases and additional profit-generating strategies.
