According to CNBC, James Comer, Chairman of the U.S. House Oversight and Accountability Committee, has expanded the congressional investigation into alleged insider trading on prediction market platforms. Chairman Comer had launched the investigation in May by demanding documents from Polymarket and Kalshi related to user identity verification, enforcement of regional restrictions, and detection of unusual trades.
