Cointelegraph reported that if Ethereum accumulation company (DAT) Bitmain (BMNR) maintains its recent pace of purchases, it could secure 5% of the total ETH supply by early November. The media outlet explained, “An analysis of Bitmain's 12 weekly reports from July 13 to September 28 revealed that the company purchased approximately 259,000 ETH during that period, acquiring an average of 21,600 ETH per week. As of September 27, Bitmain holds 6,001,302 ETH, which accounts for 4.9% of the total supply (122.1 million ETH). 5% of the supply is approximately 6,105,000 ETH, leaving about 103,700 ETH remaining to reach the target. Assuming the average purchase rate of the last 12 weeks is maintained, an additional 4.8 weeks would be needed. However, the actual time of achievement may vary depending on future purchase volumes.”
