Hackers who attacked crypto exchange Bitget's hot wallet attempted to launder stolen funds through the cross-chain exchange protocol Chainflip but were blocked. According to on-chain tracking, Chainflip's broker immediately rejected the deposit. While Chainflip did not directly freeze the stolen funds, it nullified the hackers' attempt to move funds by refunding them to the original wallet after rejection.
