Cryptobriefing reported that the volume of card payments using stablecoins surpassed $189 million two weeks ago, setting a new all-time high. The scale of stablecoin card payments has shown a steady increase since the beginning of this year. As of July data, USDC and USDT accounted for approximately 84% of stablecoin card payments. USDC was the largest with 58%, and USDT recorded approximately 26%. The average payment per transaction was about $86. Most transactions were processed via Visa. Among card issuing businesses, Red Dot Pay took the lead, recording approximately $395 million in monthly payments. Ether.fi (ETHFI) and KAST followed, with the payment volume of these three companies accounting for about 77% of the total aggregated card transaction volume. Meanwhile, Red Dot Pay completely suspended new card issuance for Korean users starting in September.
