The US cryptocurrency industry super PAC (PAC) Defend American Jobs reported to the US Federal Election Commission (FEC) that it spent $11.4 million on advertisements supporting Republican John Husted and opposing Democrat Sherrod Brown in the US Ohio Senate election. According to Cointelegraph, Defend American Jobs is affiliated with Fairshake. Fairshake had previously announced plans to invest an initial $30 million in this election. Brown previously served as chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and has taken a critical stance on major cryptocurrency bills in Congress.
