According to Glassnode, as altcoin trading volume increased in the cryptocurrency spot market, the total spot trading volume expanded to about 4 times that of BTC. This is the highest level since September 2025. Glassnode analyzed, "The phenomenon of investors moving to altcoins, which have a higher risk than BTC, has often coincided with the formation of BTC's short-term peaks in the past."
