Circle announced that it is expanding support for stablecoin payments and settlements for financial institutions through a partnership with payment service provider Volante Technologies. Volante plans to integrate features such as USDC issuance/redemption, recipient wallet registration, fundraising, and wallet-to-wallet payments into its AI-based payment platform. This will allow banks to test USDC-based payments within their existing payment infrastructure without building separate digital asset systems.
