Game developer Dungeon Labs unveiled on the 23rd Dungeon Coin (DUNG), a utility token based on the Creditcoin (CTC) mainnet, and the 'Dungeon Series' game lineup that utilizes it. Dungeon Coin will be used for game entry fees, item purchases, and settlements based on game performance, with a total supply fixed at 100 million DUNG. Game reward funds are generated from user-paid entry fees and blockchain transaction fees, and no separate new tokens are issued as rewards. Initial distribution will be conducted through a public sale without pre-allocation to institutional investors (VCs). Dungeon Labs plans to open-source the smart contract for entry fee management and distribution, and on-chain leaderboard related code, to allow external developers to create games utilizing Dungeon Coin in the future.
