Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Asset Research at asset management firm VanEck, predicted that Bitcoin could reach $100,000 next year. In an interview with CNBC, Sigel stated, "Bitcoin's volatility has decreased by about 50% compared to four years ago. Excessive government debt and ongoing fiscal concerns are supporting Bitcoin's price. It is unlikely that policymakers will resolve the unsustainable fiscal structure in the short term, and if liquidity is further eased in the future, Bitcoin's upward trend could strengthen even more. Currently, various institutions, from investment advisors to sovereign wealth funds, are buying Bitcoin, and in the options market, a higher premium is formed on put options than call options. Short covering due to the U.S. Treasury's bond buyback program is also influencing the market."
