Bloomberg reported that as the stock prices of publicly listed cryptocurrency reserve companies continue their sluggish trend, shareholders' cumulative losses have reached approximately $50 billion. The fully diluted market capitalization of publicly listed companies investing in BTC and ETH is currently about $90 billion, a decrease of about 40% from its peak. The stock price of Solana-backed company SkyAI has fallen by approximately 90% since completing fundraising for a business transition in August 2025. MetaPlanet's stock price, which incorporated BTC as a major asset, has dropped by 84% from its peak in June 2025. Following investor criticism regarding executive incentives and stock dilution, the company decided to cancel some warrant contracts and redesign its compensation plan. The media explained, "Following the decline in stock prices, individual and institutional investors are intensifying their scrutiny of employee compensation, stock incentives, and related-party transactions at these companies."
