As transactions of tokenized real-world assets (RWA), such as tokenized stocks and bonds, expand, the cryptocurrency market is entering a mature phase, said Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner at crypto venture capital firm Dragonfly Capital. In an interview with The Block, he added, "Now, to meet the regulatory compliance requirements of institutions, instead of a single general-purpose blockchain like Ethereum, Solana, or Avalanche dominating the market, a structure where multiple specialized blockchains coexist is necessary. Blockchains have network effects like cities, but they cannot expand infinitely."
