Driven by the European Union's (EU) MiCA regulation, cryptocurrency adoption in Germany is rapidly expanding, particularly among family offices and asset management firms. In contrast, the UK is reportedly falling behind in the crypto market due to regulatory gaps and delayed implementation. Meanwhile, the UK market is still in a very early stage, as it has been less than a year since the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) lifted the ban on the retail sale of crypto ETPs (Exchange Traded Products).
