Solana (SOL)-based DeFi lending protocol Kamino has appointed Michael Weisz, co-founder of investment platform Yieldstreet, as its CEO. According to CoinDesk, Kamino plans to expand its tokenized real-world asset-backed lending services, including blockchain-based home equity loans, by strengthening its relationships with Wall Street financial firms. To achieve this, it is pushing for the establishment of a New York headquarters and plans to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a Legal Officer in the future.
