Timur Suleimenov, Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, announced the establishment of a national-level cryptocurrency analysis center. The central bank plans to establish a national-level cryptocurrency analysis center to monitor cryptocurrency transactions by overseeing the SupTech (Supervisory Technology) platform. This center will analyze data ranging from fiat currency and cryptocurrency transaction data to customer, wallet, and transaction information. It will also be linked with the National Bank's Fraud Prevention Center, and plans to support banks, law enforcement agencies, and licensed cryptocurrency service providers in using the center's verification tools. Meanwhile, the scale of cryptocurrency transactions in Kazakhstan is known to be 10.6 billion dollars annually.
