CoinDesk reported that as the U.S. Senate is scheduled to hold a cloture vote (to decide whether to proceed with floor debate) on the CLARITY Act, a cryptocurrency market regulation bill, on the 15th (local time), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Ripple (XRP) among others could relatively benefit if the bill progresses. In this regard, Lacie Zhang, an analyst at Bitget Wallet, stated, "If the CLARITY Act passes and clarifies the boundaries of regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), assets like ETH, SOL, and XRP could benefit through improved institutional investment accessibility and product diversification." Additionally, TDX Strategies, a quant-based cryptocurrency trading firm, added, "If the CLARITY Act's cloture vote passes, BTC could break through the $82,000 resistance level and rise to $88,000-$90,000, but if it fails, a correction to $73,000 is expected."
