Verafin, a financial crime management solution provider for businesses under Nasdaq, announced on the 15th that it is partnering with Stablecore, a cryptocurrency infrastructure company, to build a system that tracks both traditional banking transactions and digital asset transactions, including stablecoins. This system integrates Stablecore's cryptocurrency transaction data with bank customer information within Verafin to detect suspicious transactions. It is currently in a pilot phase with some customers, and its application will be expanded to customers of both companies from Q4 this year to Q1 next year, with real-time sanction screening capabilities to be added thereafter.
