Decryption reported that the Albuquerque City Council, the largest city in New Mexico, USA, passed an ordinance prohibiting the operation of cryptocurrency ATMs due to fraud and criminal misuse. Accordingly, cryptocurrency ATM operators and those who have installed them must remove the machines within 45 days of notification. Cryptocurrency transactions directly supported by tellers are also prohibited.
