On-chain security firm Blockaid reported that an exploit occurred on the BNB Chain (BSC) bridge of cross-chain protocol Symbiosis. The attacker exploited a signed receive request for BridgeV2 to abnormally mint approximately 46.1 billion syBTC to a new address. Blockaid explained that the attacker associated with the address sold approximately 4.39 WBTC on Ethereum's Uniswap V4, netting approximately $336,000 to date.
