US House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill stated his confidence that CLARITY, a cryptocurrency market structure bill, will pass Congress before the November midterm elections. In a recent interview with Fox Business, Hill said, “I agree with SEC Chairman Paul Atkins' view that the CLARITY Act needs to pass. This bill is very important for the US digital asset industry. The House passed the bill last summer with the support of 78 Democratic members, and now it's the Senate's turn to act. Over the past year, bipartisan members in the Senate have continued negotiations to reach an agreement on the bill.”
