Balancer (BAL) has demanded the return of funds from a hacker after $234,000 worth of assets were stolen in a recent attack that exploited a V1 BPool calculation error. Balancer warned, "We will offer a bug bounty conditioned on the return of the stolen funds and will not take legal action if certain conditions are met." They added, "If there is no response by September 9th at 17:00 (UTC), we will pursue technical, on-chain, and legal measures to track down the hacker."
