CryptoBriefing reported that British fintech company Revolut has obtained preliminary approval to establish a bank in the United States. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) preliminarily approved a national bank charter for Revolut to establish 'Revolut Bank US'. With this approval, Revolut can now proceed with building infrastructure for deposits and loan products protected by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and direct access to the US payment network.
