Bitget CEO Gracy Chen announced that Bitget is in discussions with several global financial institutions, including BlackRock, to expand its cryptocurrency business in the Asian market. In an interview with CoinDesk, she cited BlackRock as an example, stating, "These companies are looking to expand the distribution of tokenized ETFs in the region. We are talking to global financial institutions to understand their positions and discuss how we can collaborate. In particular, we are in very close communication with BlackRock regarding distribution in the Asian market." BlackRock, regarding this, stated, "Our crypto ETPs are traded in Asia. We regularly collaborate with crypto service providers for various projects." However, they declined to comment specifically on their expansion plans in Asia.
