The Financial Times reported that UK brokerage firm Hargreaves Lansdown will offer cryptocurrency ETN trading to approximately 2 million investors starting from the 3rd (local time). They will launch 9 types of BTC and ETH-based ETNs as their first products. Issuers include BlackRock, WisdomTree, 21Shares, Invesco, CoinShares, and Bitwise, with annual fees ranging from 0 to 0.35%. Previously, Hargreaves Lansdown was the only major investment platform in the UK that did not support cryptocurrency ETN trading. In October last year, they stated their position that "BTC is not an asset class."
