As institutional holdings of XRP spot ETFs exceeded $183.5 million, Goldman Sachs emerged as Wall Street's largest holder.
According to cryptocurrency media outlet CryptoPotato on September 2 (local time), Goldman Sachs, Jane Street Group, and Millennium Management ranked among the top three holders of XRP spot ETFs in the second-quarter 13F report compiled by Bloomberg Intelligence. This data was released by Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart on August 31.
Goldman Sachs' holdings of XRP spot ETFs amounted to $87.4 million, which corresponds to 84 million XRP. Jane Street Group held slightly less than 16 million XRP, with an estimated value of $16.6 million. Millennium Management held 15.5 million XRP, approximately $16.2 million.
Intesa Sanpaolo ranked fourth with $14.4 million, and Marex UK Holdings recorded $8.1 million. Citadel Advisors' XRP exposure decreased by $645,000. SIG Holdings showed a larger decrease, reducing its holdings by approximately $4.6 million.
The total XRP spot ETF holdings of the identified institutions amounted to $183.5 million, corresponding to approximately 176.4 million XRP. Investment advisors held the largest share with $120.9 million. Hedge fund managers held $25.1 million, brokerage firms held $17.9 million, and banks held $14.8 million. XRP spot ETFs saw a net inflow of $110.5 million during the week ending August 28, marking the strongest five-day inflow since the first week of December 2025. An additional $5.6 million flowed in on August 31, bringing the cumulative net inflow to approximately $1.67 billion and total net assets to approximately $1.45 billion.
