The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has imposed sanctions on Iranian cryptocurrency exchanges Shelbit and Aban Tether. It is explained that these entities have been funding Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and facilitating illicit finance.
