Walter Bloomberg reported that US President Donald Trump said the US should have the lowest interest rates in the world. Trump stated that regarding whether to raise interest rates before the midterm elections, Federal Reserve (Fed) Chairman Kevin Warsh could have some say, but it's not a matter he can decide alone. He said, “The Fed board is very political. It's not a matter that Chairman Warsh can decide alone.” He added, “Warsh is a great person and I will not criticize him.”
