As XRP (Ripple) wavers amidst regulatory uncertainty and weakening institutional demand, artificial intelligence (AI) has placed weight on the possibility of its price dropping to $1.02 by the end of August. This is 2.86% lower than the current price of $1.05, with ChatGPT being the only major model to offer an optimistic outlook.
According to crypto news outlet Finbold on August 6 (local time), the US XRP spot ETF recorded a net outflow of $3.58 million on August 5. This contrasts with the sustained demand for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs. The lack of bipartisan consensus surrounding the US crypto market structure bill, the Clarity Act, along with a strong dollar and liquidation of leveraged long positions, are also pressuring the price, causing XRP to test the key support range of $1.05-$1.07.
The Finbold AI Agent predicted an average price of $1.02 for XRP on August 31, synthesizing multiple large language models (LLMs) and technical indicators. The analysis utilized Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-5.7 Luna, DeepSeek Chat, and Grok 4.5, and also incorporated indicators such as the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and Stochastic Oscillator.
Forecasts varied among the models. ChatGPT was the only one to predict an increase, suggesting $1.07, approximately 2.39% higher than the current price. In contrast, Claude Opus projected a 5.26% drop to $0.99, and Grok foresaw a 6.91% decline to $0.97. DeepSeek's predicted price was $1.03, 1.67% lower than the current price.
Key variables for a future rebound were identified as the Clarity Act and ecosystem expansion. If the bill receives a positive conclusion in the US Senate, regulatory uncertainty would decrease, and institutional investor confidence would improve, potentially boosting demand for XRP spot ETFs. However, XRP's institutional investor base and market demand are smaller than Bitcoin's, so the impact may be limited. Ripple plans to launch its RLUSD stablecoin on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum and has also obtained a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). The outlet assessed that while it is difficult for individual factors alone to create a strong upward trend, multiple catalysts combined could provide momentum for a breakthrough.
