Microsoft (MS) has warned that hackers are distributing malware using the BNB Chain to make it difficult to remove malicious infrastructure. According to the report, this method involves hacking legitimate websites and injecting malicious JavaScript that communicates with smart contracts deployed on the BNB Chain. It explains that the next-stage payload is fetched from the smart contract via the BNB Smart Chain RPC gateway. The report further states that only the wallet holder who deployed the contract can modify or delete this malicious program.
