Optimism (OP) announced that approximately 343 million OP ($29.6 million) is planned to be unlocked from May 2026 to April 2027. This includes 200 million OP allocated from the ecosystem fund, 47.6 million OP allocated to early contributors, and 15.3 million OP allocated to investors. As a result, the total circulating supply of OP will be 2.504 billion OP (58.3% of the total supply). Optimism emphasized, "The unlock is according to the existing plan, and there were no new allocations." According to CoinMarketCap, OP is trading at $0.08638, down 1.26% over the past 24 hours.
