According to The Block, as the U.S. Senate accelerates the progress of the Clarity Act this week, local gaming regulators and some lawmakers are considering adding language to the bill that would maintain the jurisdiction of state and tribal governments over sports betting. At a Senate roundtable, Senator Tina Smith suggested including the language in either the Clarity Act or the Farm Bill. On the other hand, Senator John Boozman expressed opposition to linking prediction markets with virtual asset-related legislation.
