Hester Peirce, Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated, "I am optimistic that the CLARITY Act will pass. The SEC will do its best regardless of the outcome. Even if the bill does not pass, there is still much we can do. We will continue to push for cryptocurrency regulatory reform." She added, "More clear regulations for cryptocurrencies are needed. A well-defined market structure will help the U.S. maintain its competitiveness in the crypto sector and reduce long-term uncertainty in the industry."
