Ethereum Institutional, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the institutional adoption of Ethereum (ETH), announced that it has completed its first ecosystem funding round aimed at expanding the adoption of Ethereum by institutional investors. More than 100 individuals and cryptocurrency institutions, including BitMine, SharpLink, and Ethereum co-founders Joseph Lubin and Mihai Alisie, participated in this round. The specific investment size has not been disclosed. Ethereum Institutional stated that it plans to expand cooperation with banks, asset management companies, custodians, financial infrastructure companies, fintech firms, sovereign wealth funds, and others, and strengthen support for tokenization, stablecoins, market infrastructure, and on-chain payment sectors.
