The Ethereum Foundation had launched the Protocol Support team last year through an organizational restructuring. The team was responsible for tasks such as △coordinating Ethereum protocol development △managing hard fork schedules △supporting protocol governance △and fostering new core developers. Meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation previously announced an organizational restructuring last month, reducing 54 employees, which accounts for approximately 20% of its total workforce. Moving forward, the foundation plans to operate with five core departments: △Protocol △Access △Users △Community △and Institutional, alongside an operations and management support organizational structure.
