CoinDesk reported, citing industry sources, that lawmakers may submit the latest version of the CLARITY Act as early as next week. It is expected that a new draft bill will be announced early next week and could be discussed in the Senate later this month. The media stated, "While the new bill includes agreements reached in the Senate Banking Committee and the Agriculture Committee, issues that need to be resolved still remain, including ethical concerns demanded by Senate Democrats."
