Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas described asset manager Vanguard's hiring of a 'Head of Digital Assets' as a major victory and validation for the cryptocurrency industry. He stated via X, "The mere creation of a position with 'Digital Assets' in the title is a huge win for the crypto industry," adding, "Vanguard was virtually the last holdout, apart from Peter Schiff and one outdated actor." However, he conveyed that Vanguard explained that they are "not capitulating or turning to Bitcoin support, but rather seeking to utilize related technologies."
