Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA), pointed out that the Ethereum (ETH) Foundation's new UTXO payment proposal is a concept that has been developed by Cardano (ADA) for 10 years, and that Ethereum is not acknowledging their efforts and is unauthorizedly appropriating it. According to CryptoBasic, he emphasized, "Cardano's extended UTXO model is one of the biggest innovations in smart contract design, and I have been researching this topic for over 10 years. Ethereum is trying to replicate this concept while making any mention of Cardano taboo. Later, Ethereum might copy other innovations from Cardano as well." The media added, "The previously released proposal from the Ethereum Foundation included a UTXO payment method aimed at reducing the burden by processing payment transactions as one-time events instead of the existing state-storage method. However, the proposal explained that it adopted Bitcoin's one-time payment model without mentioning Cardano."
