Shiboh Securities, a Japanese brokerage firm acquired by Metaplanet, a company that accumulates Bitcoin (BTC), announced that it will change its name to Metaplanet Securities. If approved at the shareholders' meeting on the 13th, it will be incorporated into Metaplanet and its name will be changed. The company plans to build a 'BTC×Finance' platform as an opportunity for this incorporation, offering BTC-based products to individual investors. Previously, Metaplanet announced that it would acquire 100% of Shiboh Securities' shares for 2.1 billion yen (13 million dollars).
