Layer 1 blockchain Sui (SUI) announced via its official X account that the TPS (transactions per second) of Sui's programmable tunnel recently reached 6,086,766. This is six times the target of 1 million TPS. Sui unveiled this achievement in a public experiment via live streaming on the 4th (local time). This record is approximately 20 times higher than the previously measured benchmark (297,000 TPS) in a controlled environment. Sui emphasized, "Millions of agent-to-agent interactions are settled on-chain through the programmable tunnel," adding, "The Sui Tunnel demonstrated what is possible when AI agents act autonomously without waiting for human clicks."
