CoinDesk reported that the long-term roadmap 'Lean Ethereum' unveiled by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin is gaining support from key developers and researchers. However, while developers agreed with the direction, such as strengthening privacy protection and introducing quantum-resistant cryptographic technology, they pointed out that the proposed development schedule of 3-4 years is excessively long. Some suggested aiming for implementation within approximately one year using AI and large language models (LLMs). The industry evaluates that execution speed, rather than core technology, will determine Ethereum's future competitiveness.
