Terence Kwok, founder of Humanity Protocol (H), which suffered a hacking loss of approximately $36 million, stated in an interview with The Block, "We are moving away from an identity verification and blockchain-centric strategy to reorganize our business around enterprise AI products." He cited malware infection on a developer's laptop, rather than a smart contract vulnerability, as the cause of the hack. He also admitted that the possibility of recovering the stolen funds is low, stating, "We plan to focus on rebuilding the project rather than recovering lost assets." He added, "Allegations of a 'rug pull' (scam) where the project intentionally dumped tokens are not true."
